I thought I'd be cool and start smoking at 15. I smoked for 40 years. I was strongly encouraged by my doctor to give up and one day I finally caved in. She was part of the reason for quitting, but money was the key factor. I could also feel my health was not great, especially when going up and downstairs and that tipped the scales to give up. A year on and I feel great, I have put on a few kilos so now it is my weight that is my next target. Only you can make that change, it's a mindset. So make that change.
